Nice directional lines and movement. It's so stark and sleek, and that's definitely a good thing. I was surprised to read that you didn't manipulate it at all; I'm sure it's much easier to get a similar look in photoshop (if you don't mind a loss in quality).
Ach, I have a lot more reasons why I like it, but lately I've gotten out of practice at complimenting things, so I can't think of how to word it.

Strobe lights is something I've always wanted to play around with, but I don't really understand how it works (I just like it when I see what other people have done), and I'm sure I don't have the resources for it anyways.

But anyways, very good job.

FINALLY someone creates natural contrast! It's amazing man. You can tell it's natural because the contrast is strong but there isn't any nasty overexposure on the girl. Excellent lighting and capture man. I freakin love it!

Thank you so much. It's nice to get such positive feedback on this work, especially since I worked so hard on it. It means even more coming from someone as talented as you.

i like this shot....
except it looks a little off balance...well its not the shot as a whole...composition is great...its the subject really...i think its cuz shes short...great lighting...what camera/lense did you use for this???
:iconjmraspa:
Ummm...Hasselblad 501CM with an....80 or 90mm lens. It doesn't look like the original, which had more white space in it.

Yes, this shot is probably my favorite of the bunch. The quality of light falling on her legs is probably my favorite part. Using the strobes was tricky, as I had nothing to proof my lighting with. I guess I was just lucky with my flash ratios this time. Next time I'll use Polaroids. Thank you muchly.
